Rand joined State Farm in 1992 as an agent. After serving in various leadership positions, he was appointed Chief Agency, Sales & Marketing Officer in 2012. Prior to joining State Farm, he served in several various roles at H.J. Heinz and Marion Merrell Dow.
He serves on the Board of Directors for State Farm Life Company. Outside of State Farm, Rand serves on the Board of Directors for Hagerty. He is a former board member of The American College; Teach For America; the California Business Roundtable, where he served as Chairman; the California Chamber of Commerce; the Reagan Legacy Foundation; Eureka College; and the University of Central Missouri Foundation Board.
A graduate of the University of Central Missouri, Rand earned an MBA from Webster University and graduated from the General Management program at the Harvard Business School.
