Senior Vice President of Product Management
Dan leads the product management practice for Hagerty's existing and new products. He is responsible for working with cross-functional leadership to create a product roadmap inclusive of newly formed partner offerings and other assets in addition to leading the efforts to distinctly position and sell Hagerty capabilities to clients against the competition.
Dan joins Hagerty after four years as Vice President of Digital Product + Experience at sweetgreen, a fast growing digital-first fast-casual restaurant brand. At sweetgreen Dan led Digital Product and Experience Design for the “full stack” food and restaurant platform sweetgreen is known for including Supply Chain, Inventory Mgmt, Team Member Tools, Menu Management, Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Loyalty, Personalization, Ordering Channel innovation, and New Store Concepts.
Prior to sweetgreen, Dan held key Digital leadership roles at Starbucks. Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, Dan served as Director of Digital Ordering and GM of the Mobile Order & Pay initiative. Previously, Dan served as a member of the Starbucks Global Strategy team where he defined and led the digital and business strategy for the Starbucks Rewards Loyalty program redesign, and their first foray into Personalization via machine-learning.
Prior to Starbucks, Dan held Product, Marketing, and User Experience leadership positions at Target and Target.com where he designed the first Target mobile app, led a redesign of Target.com, defined the content strategy and organizational governance model for Target’s presence in social media, and spearheaded multi-channel experience design and monetization strategies for Target’s Health, Wellness, Pharmacy, Clinic, and Electronics business units.
Dan holds a Liberal Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
